To provide financial and general support to the New York City Lab School for Collaborative Studies; solicit and receive charitable contributions, grants and other forms of donation; to bring together students, staff, parents and alumni to support the school as a community; to support and be supported by community organizations and corporations in and around our immediate Chelsea neighborhood.

Overview - Who We Are

Friends of NYC Lab School (Friends of Lab) is a 501(c)3 support organization for the NYC Lab Middle and High Schools.  Formed in 2007, the organization serves as the development office for these two high-performing and socially-conscious schools to cultivate corporate, community and alumni support in order to maintain the schools' academic excellence and vital arts and enrichment programs. 

The NYC Lab School was founded over 15 years ago, on a collaboration model to provide an academically rigorous and strong character-building school environment to develop and prepare its dedicated and community-oriented students to become the next generation of leaders.
